Little Readers

Little Readers is a free, early-literacy program offered in collaboration with the Mesquite ISD Library Services Department. Designed especially for families with children ages birth to five, Little Readers brings stories, songs, hands-on activities, and early learning fun to elementary campuses across Mesquite ISD.

The curriculum is thoughtfully created by a team of MISD librarians, and each Little Readers group is led by the librarian on that specific campus, ensuring a warm, welcoming, and engaging experience for every family. Families are invited to attend any Little Readers group throughout the district—no registration required.

Together, we’re helping families read, play, and talk every day to build strong future readers!
